Energy Vault is honoured to collaborate with Victoria's State Electricity Commission (SEC) on the SEC Renewable Energy Park – Horsham, one of Australia's first 100% publicly owned, utility-scale renewable energy projects. Our role involves delivering and integrating a 100 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) with the park's 119 MW solar farm, enhancing grid reliability and supporting Victoria's transition to renewable energy. ​

We ensure optimised Hybrid BESS operations by utilising our proprietary X-VAULT™ integration platform and UL9540 certified B-VAULT™ product, coupled with the VaultOS™ Energy Management System. This integration provides firm, dispatchable power during peak demand, aligning with our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. ​

In alignment with the Victorian Government's local procurement policies, we are dedicated to engaging local suppliers and creating approximately 246 jobs during construction, thereby driving economic benefits for the Horsham region. 

Preconstruction activities have commenced; full operational status is anticipated by late 2027. This project exemplifies our mission to accelerate the clean energy transition through innovative and efficient energy storage solutions. ​
