As the state’s largest membership organisation, the Royal Automobile Association of South Australia (RAA) is proudly playing a leading role in supporting South Australia’s transition to low emissions transport future.

In less than two years, RAA has built has South Australia’s first state-wide electric vehicle (EV) charging network, comprising of 144 charging sites and more than 540 charging bays.

Powered by net 100% renewable energy, the RAA Charge network is the only EV charging network in SA to feature Time-of-Use pricing signals, incentivising drivers to charge when the state's renewable energy generation profile is high.

With 98% of charging sites located no more than 200km apart and 75% of the network located in regional areas, the RAA Charge network is making it easier than ever to own and drive an EV in South Australia.

RAA Charge ambitiously aims to be a catalyst in one of the most transformative step changes in electrifying and decarbonising personal transport in SA.
